Scouting for Food

On Wednesday night the boys put labels on about 900 flyers that needed to be put out on Saturday.
Don't they look busy? They did an awesome job! So I forgot to take pictures on Saturday but we had 7 boys show up for Scouting for food and we got it done in just under 2 hours. Considering how bad the weather has been we actually got a pretty good break during the time we were putting out the flyers. Thanks to Brother Proctor, Brother Andelin, Brother Jacobsen and Sister Olson for driving. Extra thanks to Sister Jacobsen for the pizza!

Fun & Games

With all of the bad weather around Christmas and the first of the year it was hard to know if we were going to have activities or not. So on January 7th there ended up not being a combined activity with the YW so Aaron Jacobsen & Erik Olson went to work. Both Erik and Aaron planned some games. These pictures show one of the games that Aaron directed in which the boys had to figure out the right clothes to dress in for a cold activity. It was a fun race with another person
In this game that Erik led the boys had to figure out what objects where in the bag and then they had to decide if what they had in their hands was one of the "Ten Essentials"

Christmas Tree Pickup

What a great group! We had a wonderful turnout to help with the tree pickup. Extra thanks to all those adults that brought trucks, vans and to Bro. Barton for his trailer. It was bit cold but the boys went right to work. We brought in over $250!
